Herbert Paul Adler, Jr., age 83, beloved husband of the late Rhoda Adler nee Weinstein, devoted son of the late Herbert Louis Adler and Eva Adler nee Cohn; loving father of Jordan Adler, Audrey (Steve) Rosner and Donna Adler, cherished brother of the late Judith Wolf; dear uncle and cousin to many. Herbert was business owner of Heartland Creative and former manager of Dixie Square Shopping Center, an active member of the Lions Club and gave to many charities. He served for many years on the Lansing, Illinois Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He loved family and friends, business, bowling, Dunkin Donuts, TV, mystery novels and lived life with a sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Chapel service Tuesday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
